We began raising Australian Black swans in the summer of 2017.

We have 4 Australian Black Swan cygnets remaining that hatched on 10/2/24. There are 3 females and 1 male remaining. We had another hatch of 5 unrelated cygnets that hatched on 11/1/24 and there are 4 males and 1 female in this group. So, we have 4 unrelated male/female pairs and one single male black swan cygnet currently available.
We hold all cygnets for a minimum of 2-4 weeks to ensure they are off to an excellent start. We can pair these swans from each hatch as they are unrelated if you are looking for an unrelated breeding pair. Please follow our Facebook page and watch the website here for updates on additional hatches.
We have 5 unrelated breeder pairs of adult Australian Black Swans in our breeding program.
If you are not looking to breed and just want 2 beautiful black swans for your pond (and not having to deal with the males aggression and nest protection during breeding season), then 2 females can be an excellent choice as they get along fine together in our experiences. 2 males can also live together in our experiences and will sometimes go through a nesting ritual if they bond.

PLEASE NOTE: WE CURRENTLY DO NOT SHIP SWANS. THEY WOULD NEED TO BE PICKED UP AT OUR FARM IN ASPERS PA 17304. WE SELL ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. Your order on our website reserves your swans to pickup. The actual sale takes place when you pickup your swans at our farm or when the transporter picks up.
We DO NOT sell swans to anyone living outside of the United States due to export/import laws of both the US and other countries.
We do not keep a waiting list and ask customers to watch our website and Facebook page for updates on availability or to email us at: info@moonlightvalleyfarm.com . Due to folks changing their minds or not being ready once their birds were available, we now sell all birds on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis and do not hold birds unless an order has been placed, which reserves them (payment can be made at pickup by choosing check/money order option to bypass credit card screen during checkout) We accept all major credit cards, cash, money order, Paypal or Venmo at pickup.
All swans are pinioned and DNA tested before going to their new homes.
